Another Eden Begins is a time-traveling Japanese-style RPG developed by STUDIO PRISMA of Wright Flyer Studios and published by Wright Flyer Studios. The game is written and directed by renowned scenario writer Masato Kato, with music featuring a main theme by Yasunori Mitsuda. It combines a story-driven adventure with strategic command battles, character development, exploration, crafting, and multiple endings.

Story

The story follows Aldo, who lives peacefully with his younger sister Feinne in the village of Baruoki. Their peaceful life changes when Feinne is taken by the Beast King. Aldo follows them into Moonlight Forest, where a battle with a beast sends him through a tear in spacetime. He eventually finds himself 800 years in the future, beginning a journey across different eras to rescue his sister and uncover the mysteries surrounding the world.

Gameplay

Another Eden Begins features strategic command-based battles where players build parties from 19 characters. Battles include chain skills that can trigger successive attacks and Another Force, which allows the party to unleash a powerful barrage of attacks. Exploration takes players across different time periods, while crafting allows players to create weapons, armor, and food. After completing the main story, New Game+ unlocks additional content and more than 10 possible endings based on player choices.
