The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas is a festive 3D platform adventure developed by Casual Brothers Ltd. and published by Outright Games. The game takes players to Who-ville and surrounding snowy environments, where the Grinch sets out to prove that he has changed by creating the most spectacular Christmas tree. It is inspired by the original How the Grinch Stole Christmas! books and is designed as a family-friendly adventure.

Story

After changing his ways, the Grinch wants to show the Whos that his heart has truly grown. His goal is to collect enough decorations and create an impressive Christmas tree for Who-ville. Alongside his loyal companion Max, the Grinch travels through different festive locations, overcoming obstacles and dealing with mischievous creatures while collecting ornaments for the Christmas celebration.

Gameplay

The gameplay combines 3D platforming, exploration, collecting, and local co-op. Players can explore areas such as the Grinch’s Cave, Mt. Crumpit, Who-wood, and Who-ville. The Grinch can use special gadgets including Rocket Skates, a Jetpack, and a Snowball Maker to overcome platforming challenges and deal with enemies. The game supports solo play as the Grinch or local two-player co-op, with the second player controlling Max.
