About This Game
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a classic action-adventure game in which players control Link as he journeys across Hyrule. The new Nintendo Switch 2 version modernizes the original Nintendo 64 adventure with updated visuals, smoother performance, improved camera and movement controls, and expanded presentation.
Story
Link’s adventure takes him across two different eras of Hyrule. Guided by destiny, he becomes involved in the conflict surrounding the Triforce and the rise of Ganondorf. As the story progresses, Link explores Hyrule, meets important characters, solves ancient mysteries, and works to protect the kingdom from darkness.
Gameplay
The game combines exploration, dungeon crawling, puzzle solving, combat, and story progression. Link can freely explore Hyrule Field, towns, forests, lakes, deserts, and other areas while discovering dungeons filled with puzzles, enemies, and treasures. The Switch 2 edition adds a new dash ability, improved camera controls, freely jumping movement, faster loading, enhanced environments, and the Threads of Time system for tracking objectives and story progress.
