About This Game

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is a story-driven RPG developed and published by CAPCOM. It is the third entry in the Monster Hunter Stories series, where players become Riders who raise, bond with, and fight alongside monsters. The adventure takes place across the two countries of Azuria and Vermeil, which are facing destruction and conflict.

Story

The story begins when an egg containing a Rathalos is discovered at a time when the species is believed to be extinct. However, the egg produces twin Rathalos, each carrying the Skyscale marking connected to a devastating civil war from 200 years earlier. As monster species face extinction and tensions between Azuria and Vermeil increase, a Rider and their trusted Rathalos set out to uncover the truth behind these events.

Gameplay

Gameplay combines traditional turn-based RPG combat, monster raising, exploration, character progression, and customization. Players take on the role of a Rider and build relationships with monsters while progressing through the story. The game supports single-player gameplay and Nintendo Switch 2 features including TV, Tabletop, and Handheld modes.
